the tools.

Three calculators, free and instant — the same math we run on every game. Strip the vig to see a fair line, find the expected value and edge on any price, and size your bankroll like the math says, not like your gut says. Nothing here needs an account.

how we use this

A sportsbook's two prices don't add up to 100% — the extra is the vig, the book's built-in margin. Remove it and you get the market's true implied odds. Enter both sides of a two-way market (moneyline, spread price, over/under price).

Use both prices from the same market — e.g. FanDuel has Yankees −120 and Red Sox +105.

is the price worth it?

Betting is about price vs. probability. Enter the odds you can get and your own estimate of the true win chance — we'll tell you the expected value, your edge over the price, and, if you add a bankroll, a conservative quarter-Kelly stake. Positive EV means the price is better than the true odds; that's the whole game.

Classic example: a coin flip is +100 fair. Getting +110 on a true 50% is a +5% edge.

why discipline wins

The fastest way to lose is to bet too big. Set your bankroll and a unit size (pros run 1–3%, rarely over 5%), and we'll show your unit, a sane daily exposure cap, and how long a cold streak you can survive. This isn't advice — it's arithmetic.

Every day is independent — you're never "due." A unit you can lose 20 times in a row and still play is a unit you sized right.

The calculators are the manual version. The newsletter is the automatic one — every morning, the model's fair lines, the edges vs. the market, and the picks graded against the closing line. Free.
